What better way to make it official than to get married where it all started...the Outer Banks of North Carolina? The ceremony will take place at Our Lady of the Seas Catholic Church on Hatteras Island in Buxton. The church overlooks the the serene waters of the Pamlico Sound, and the altar even includes an ocean wave in its design.
The mass is scheduled to take place at 3pm on Saturday, October 1, 2005. Attire is beach formal. In other words, put on your best hawaiian shirt or sundress that you own. : )

The priest for the service will be none other than Lauren's "brother, the Father" - Father Peter Nassetta. If you want a sneak peak at Fr. Peter's wit, wisdom, and facinating homilies, you can catch him most Saturday evenings and Sundays at George Mason University, where he has been the Chaplain at St. Bellarmine chapel for several years.
