During the week of September 25th, we will be planning a few activities for family and friends. There are lots of fun things to do at the beach for every personality! Our favorites are surfing, visiting the charming, artistic town of Ocracoke (just a quick 30min ferry ride from Hatteras), 4 wheeling to a beach site at the Cove (near the Cape Hatteras Light House), and a beach bonfire after sunset (complete with toasting marshmellows of course).

For the golf enthusiasts, Buxton offers nine hole executive play at Ocean Edge Golf Course. If you are interested in surf fishing, bring a rod and reel and cast out anywhere along the miles of pristine beaches in Hatteras. See the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum in Hatteras Village as well as other OBX attractions.
