Capture the essence of your family's love. A perfectly imperfect family.
I want you to have fun during your session...even the ones who said they didn't want to do it with you. My goal, asides from taking photos that blow your mind, is for you to walk away from your session with a collection of images that look like they were captured from your memories. I want you to look at these photos a month, a year, ten years from now, and not just say, "I remember when you were this old" but, "I remember that day."
It's all about your experience in that moment.. and a piece of art that captures the spirit of who you and your family are, and shows the love and CONNECTION that you feel. I want you to see your images and cry because you are overcome with emotion. Overcome with love and seeing it expressed on "film."
The world is my studio and I work with natural light. We'll choose a location to have fun.. and I will document a memory!
While I encourage bringing "props" or furniture that will make you smile and wearing fun colors that are somewhat coordinated... I don't ever want you to wear something that will make you feel stiff or uncomfortable! I want to capture your personality.. and if that means flip flops and swim suits... then come as you are. No stiff formal sessions... just natural, fun, memories. That being said.. these photos will last a lifetime... so dress it up and put some thought into it and you will be rewarded with some wonderful images! I'll send you some inspiration and ideas once we set up a session.
